Bedpush Fun in the High Street

Every December SHR volunteers take to the streets of Scunthorpe for our annual bedpush/street collection.

Our "fake" patient sits in the warmth of the bed, while our volunteers stand in the High Street with their collection tins, urging shoppers to hand over any spare change they have.

SHR members are usually joined for the event by North Lincolnshire's Mayor and Mayoress, along with local MPs Ian Cawsey and Elliot Morley.

The cast of Scunthorpe's Pantomine also attend, putting the FUN into our Fundraising Day.
